Light Horse Section The Light Horse Section of Caerwys Agricultural Show used to be just a few welsh pony and cob in hand classes, but since 1983 it has expanded in leaps and bounds! We now cater for lots of In-Hand classes, Welsh A to D, Ridden Showing, Working Hunters, C.H.A.P.S., Mountain and Moorland, Ridden Hunters, Equitation and Fancy Dress. We are a friendly family show and competitors come back to compete year after year, and it is a pleasure to see them again and catch up in my Secretary's caravan. We have lots of trophies and lovely rosettes and sashes; this year we are putting on some Speciality classes of rare breeds, which should be interesting!!! I think my favourite time is the judging of all the Champion and Reserve Champions, and Supreme Welsh Champion for the highest accolade of the show, the Overall Supreme Light Horse Champion of the Show, wow... breath taking. See you on the day, may it be glorious as usual!!
